Well here I am.
Alright, so once upon a time there was a charming/devious princess (not buying princess? hows New Zealand citizen?), who went by the completely ungeeky name of Darth Raeona.
Now this princess/citizen had an odd fascination with artwork which caused her to have the audacity to call herself an artist.
This in turn led to many a tragic sketch (not that the subjects were tragic, just the rendering), so much so that her kingdom (hows immediate family members and close friends?) decided she needed to actually put some effort in and stop torturing the common public.
The ensuing drawings, photos, paintings and various other forms of arty things were of a vaguely more bearable quality.
Then one day, she discovered the wonderful world of Deviant Art, where she found thousands of other princesses/citizens who were equally artistic in their spare time. It was a magical place where she could spread her 'art' around and frolic through fields of flowers in an undeniably jolly fashion.
And so she lived happily ever after. :)

I'm back!
So I graduated high school, got accepted into Otago University, moved out of my parents' house, and took up ancient Greek.
Nothing quite like moving to the other side of the country to make you feel small and completely insignificant. So here I am, everything is so very very different now, I'm not too sure how to act or what to make of it. I definitely feel ready for the next chapter of my life but that doesn't stop it from being jolly intimidating.
In terms of Art, I have broken free of the artists Block! Triumph! I managed to not only pick up a pencil but work on a drawing that's been sitting unfinished in a cupboard for 6 mont

Seriously, Armageddon has come.
By which I mean the nerd convention not the end of the world.
S it's been a little while since I last did anything here, hope y'all missed me
I think I got tagged in a couple of journal things but I can't be bothered at the moment so you two maybe I'll get round to that at a later date. Though i doubt it.
Anyways, I haven't been drawing much these days (artist's block is camping in my living room) and school's doing a pretty good job of keeping me occupied, however I very foolishly took on a massive sewing project which has been distracting me from the stuff I'm actually supposed to be doing.

If I were to do commissions, would anyone be interested? Or even a free piece or two just for kicks?
I'd really like to do pictures for someone else and cater to the tastes of others, rather than simply drawing whatever I feel like because that's beginning to get a tad purposeless.
So if anyone is interested, please let me know.
